Hello people………………….I have a ranch…otherwise known as a farm….and I grow angora goats, (mohair goats if you ask me), and I have fifty some of them. I also have a wide assortment of other animals. I used to be a hermit….I had a muscle disease…still have remnants…..was suicidal for 38 years….delivered 2 children…miscarried many……had an abusive husband…raped some….goodness, let’s just say I’ve been through life and I’m still here. Still here and kickin. My goats provide me with love and responsibility and loyalty and love and joy and love…… My blog is kinda half and half. I write part at night and the rest the next afternoon after I’ve spent the day with the goaties. I love my life…adore my life….adore my babies. My night night call at the moment…always fluctuating…is……night Β night girls, night night boys, night night beautifuls, night night Littles, night night Pretties, night night Girls in back, night night cows, night night horses….(night night)………..kitties, birds, puppies, Bluedog, babies, night night mama, night night mama, night night mama.

I used to paint and play with clay, but have spent most of my time lately doing fiber arts…spinning, crocheting, knitting, felting. Fun stuff. Enjoy the ride.

  1. Thank you sweetie! I’m honored you would think of me. Think of it this way. We both got nominated. How cool is that? I’m not sure if I follow 15 people yet either, but sure, let’ give it a go! You’re sweet.

  2. Hi there! I’m so impressed with all that you do! You are an inspiration to anyone wishing to be even a little bit more self-sufficient (hands up here!) Actually, I was born in Texas, though I was removed as a baby and have never returned. I often wonder what my life would have been like if we had stayed… my father kept goats too, apparently, so that is already two things we have in common! I look foward to reading more of your site!

    • Kind words, thank you so much! well, stay away from Texas right now, it’s very HOT! Your life is just as scheduled, no need to wish, go with what is. Love things in common!!!! πŸ™‚

      • That’s ok – it’s hot here in Japan too! But it’s also wet at the moment, something that you may be wishing for in Texas perhaps?

Thank you for taking the time to read and reply! Just gotta love that synchronicity! πŸ™‚

      • I do indeed love synchronicity! And today, we actually got some rain, but usually we need it! There’s still green in the pastures so we’re ok for now. Stay dry my friend, stay dry.

  3. Thank you for liking my post and following my blog. I have always wanted to experience life on a farm. I suppose I could through your posts πŸ™‚

    • πŸ™‚ Yes, I suppose you could….except I’d be doing all the work! Now that’s how you do a farm! lol Just kidding….yes, I believe there are others here who have had the same dream, so they read about my farm, and it brings them into the world a little.Too bad you can’t feel how soft this stuff is, need touch-a-vision…I’ll spare y’all the smell-a-vision. πŸ™‚ Enjoy! And, you are welcome, if I didn’t enjoy your blog, i wouldn’t go. Simple. Nice to meet you Wellie.

    • I’m honored by your words my dear, thank you. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. Ha! I kinda wanted to win that one, since Beautiful is what my hubby calls me. (heart)

  4. Thanks for visiting my blog. I’m in awe of what you’ve lived through. You’re a very strong woman and I’m happy you kept yourself alive to find some well-deserved happiness. Your animals sound lovely. I love goats, and farm animals. They’re like furry/hairy people to me! lol Don’t have any animals right now but I’d be fine with something “simple” like a dog or cat πŸ™‚ (simple compared to having a whole farm!, lol).

    • You’re so very welcome. Yes, life has serious challenges and I learned that if you just hang on…things will shift. I am blessed by these furry people, lol it’s part of tonight’s topic when I post. And ya…if you have a hectic life….get a simple animal. Dogs are easier than birds, cats, flying squirrels and goats. That’s all I know for sure. πŸ’™. Ps… Thanks for Liking the Wiggles!!! Blessings to you
